A Festival of Music in Western Massachusetts
May 12 - 20, 2000
OpusBerkshire is a concert series in Berkshire County designed to bring internationally renowned musicians to western Massachusetts for a program of concerts, workshops and community events. In the words of artistic directors Daniel Epstein and Yuval Waldman, "It is both an adventure and a bold experiment."

The festival this year includes Beethoven at the Clark, an all-Bach commemoration of the Bach 250th Jubilee (Brandenburg Plus), The Raphael Trio, as well as Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale. We are pleased to offer performances by pianist Daniel Epstein, violinist/conductor Yuval Waldman, violinist Irina Muresanu and cellist Susan Salm. In addition, the New American Chamber Orchestra, as well as clarinetist Igor Begelman and bassoonist Larisa Gelman, will participate in the festival.
